This is the last Will and Testament of me John Wilford of Scalford in the County of Leicester Grazier
I give unto my son Edmund Wilford and my son Thomas Wilford the sum of one hundred pounds apiece and unto my daughter Ann the wife of James McDougal the sum of Four hundred pounds which three legacies I will shall be paid to my said sons and daughter within twelve months after my decease
And subject thereto and to the payment of my just debts legacies funeral and testamentary expences I give devise and bequeath All my Real Estate with their appurtenances situate in Scalford aforesaid now I my own occupation And also all my Personal Estate and Effects of every kind of which I shall die possessed unto my youngest Son Joseph Wilford his heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever
And I do appoint him sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made
And I hereby request my two friends William Kirk of Scalford aforesaid Grazier and William Clark of Melton Mowbray Auctioneer to act as Trustees for my family to see that this my Will if fully executed

Signed published and declared by the said Testator John Wilford as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have set our names as Witnesses thereto
