In The Name of God Amen
I Thomas Whittle of the Parish of Harby in the County of Leicester Yeoman being Mind full of my Mortality Do make this my Last will and Testament in Manner and forme following (viz)
Imprimis I Give to my Son Thomas Whittle the Sum of Twenty pounds to be paid unto him at the Age of Twenty one years
Item I Give to my Son Ralph Whittle the Sum of one Shilling
Item All that Oxgang of Land lying in the Several fields of Harby aforesaid that was Given me by my father Ralph Whittle I Do Give to my Son Ralph Whittle when he shall accomplish the age of twenty one years and my mind further is that my Brother John Whittle whom I Leave in trust for my Son Ralph Whittle and no other Shall Receive and Injoy all Profits that Shall Accrew from the Said Oxgang of Land Towards the Bringing up of my Son Ralph Whittle with meat Drink washing Lodging and Apparil Untill he Shall Accomplish the age of Twenty one years aforesaid
Item All the Remainder of my personal Estate I give to my Brother John Whittle by him freely to be possessed and Injoyed he Paying all my Just Debts My funerall Expence the Legacyes above Named and Also to bring up my Son Thomas Whittle above Named with meat Drink washing Lodging and Apparil Untill he Shall Accomplish the full age of Twenty one years
And Lastly I Do Nominate Constitute and Apoint my Brother John Whittle Sole Executor of this my Last will and Testament Revoking all other former Wills by me at any time made
In wittness whereof I have to This my Last will and Testament Set my hand and Seal this Twenty Third Day of June 1738
