In the name of god amen The xxvith of March in the yeare of our Lord god 1613 I Ralph Whittell in Plungar in the County of Lecester husbandman beinge sicke in body, but in perfit mind & memory thanks be unto god doe ordaine & make this my last will & testament in manner & form as followeth

First I give & bequeath my soule into the hands of allmighty god my creator & my body to be buryed in the churchyard of Plungar aforesayde

Item I give to the Church of Plungar vid

Item I give unto the poore people within the sayd Plungar iid a peece

It I give unto my daughter Mary Whittell xx li

It I give unto my daughter Isabell Whittell xx li

It all the rest of my goods as well moveable as unmoveable I give unto Isabell my wife all my debts beinge payde, and my legacies discharged

I make Isabell my wife my full and whole executrix

Debts which Raphe Whittell oweth

Imprimis unto the Earle of Rutland xxx li

It unto Richard Wilie 40s
