In The name of god Amen The first of Maye one Thousand six hundred and nynetene I Richard Webster of Hose in the Countie of Leicester, sicke in bodie, but of perfect Remembrance (thanks be to god) do ordayne and make this my last will and Testament in this manner following
Imprimis I Comend my Soule to god, and my bodie to be buried in the Churchyard of Hose Aforesayd
Item I give to George Webster my Cousin my … sute of apparell, to his wife vid, to his daughter Marye vid
Item I give to Damascon Wright vid
Item I give to Elnor Wright vid and to Jane Wright vid
Item I give to Jhon Hou… my best fustian doublet my best Clothe breches and Jerkin
Item I give to Joane Webster 4d and to her sone Richard 4d
Item I give to the poore of Hose 12d to be given at the discretion of the minister there
Item I give to Jhon Whally one leather doublet
Item I give to Nicolas Ward one axe
Item I give to Richard Thomson my Apprentice 40s 2 axes ii hammers one square one plume rule one trowel one ii foote rule one 4 foote rule
The residue of my goods and Cattells [sic] unbequeathed (my debts and funerall expences discharged) I give and bequeath to Cense Webster my wife whome I do ordayne and make the full Executrixe of this my last will and Testament
In wittnesse whereof I the aforesd Richard Webster have set to my hand the daye and yeare above written in the presence of those whose names are subscribed
