William Watchorn of Chadwell 1810 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Watchorn of Caudwell in the County of Leicester Farmer as follows

First I will and direct that all my just Debts Legacies Funeral and Testamentary Expences to be fully paid

Then I Give and Devise All that my Messuage or Tenement Yard Garden Outbuildings and premises And also all that Close peice or parcel of Land or ground inclosed situate standing lying and being in Caudwell aforesaid containing Half an Acre or thereabouts (be the same more or less) unto my two Sons Jarvis Watchorn and Francis Watchorn theirs heirs and Assigns so long as they shall live peaceably together But if my said two Sons Jarvis Watchorn and Francis Watchorn shall not agree to reside together Then I will and direct that a Sale shall be made of all my said Real Estate and premises so situate at Caudwell aforesaid and with the purchase money arising therefrom to be paid to them in equal shares and proportions

I Give and bequeath unto my Son William Watchorn the sum of Thirty Pounds

Unto my Daughter Elizabeth Watchorn the sum of Thirty Pounds

Unto my Daughter Mary Watchorn the sum of Thirty Pounds

Unto my Daughter Lucy the sum of Thirty Pounds

Unto my Daughter Ann the sum of Thirty Pounds

And Unto my Daughter Martha Watchorn the sum of Thirty Pounds

All which said several legacies I will shall be paid to them and each of them within twelve Months after my decease by my Executors

I Give unto my said two Sons Jarvis Watchorn and Francis Watchorn All that my Tenant right to the Farm I now rent under the Reverend Mr Macaulay humbly requesting him to continue them Tenant thereto

I Give and bequeath All my Household Goods other Goods stock Cattle Chattels rights credits ready monies securities for money and all other my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever the same may be Unto my said two Sons Jarvis Watchorn and Francis Watchorn their Executors and Administrators (subject to the payment of the legacies above mentioned)

And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said two Sons Jarvis Watchorn and Francis Watchorn joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made

In Witness whereof I the said William Watchorn the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day July one thousand eight hundred and ten

Signed sealed published and declared by the said William Watchorn the Testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who have at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other set our hands as witnesses to the due execution thereof the erazure between the thirteenth and fourteenth line from the top and the interlineation between the eighth and ninth line from the bottom thereof being first written
