John Warriner of Plungar 1807 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Warriner of Plungar in the county of Leicester, farmer
In the first place I will that all my just debts and funeral expences be paid and discharged.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Susanna wife of John Hanley of Skillington in the county of Lincoln the sum of seventy one pounds, two shillings
And also to my daughter Sarah wife of William Mann of Elton in the county of Nottingham the sum of Forty eight pounds
And to my daughter Elizabeth wife of Stephen Wilders of Barkston in the county of Leicester, the sum of Thirty six pounds
And lastly to my daughter Martha wife of John Smart of Belvoir Castle the sum of Sixty five pounds of good and lawful money
Which several legacies with what each of them has already received makes up the sum of one hundred pounds each; all which legacies I would have paid in twelve months after my decease But if my Stock and money does not amount to so much I will that each shall abate a proportional share, and if it exceed, that each shall receive an equal share
I also give to my daughter Martha Smart the bed and bedding standing in the best chamber which was her mother’s over and above the above legacie for her care in nursing me
And I do hereby nominate and appoint William Mann of Elton aforesaid and John Smart of Belvoir Castle Executors to this my Will, hereby revoking all other Wills heretofore made allowing them all reasonable costs and expences they shall be at in the execution of this my Will
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Ninth day of October 1794

Let a Probat be granted to William Mann of Elton in the County of Nottingham & John Smart of Belvoir Castle joint Executors within named They the said Executors being duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the will as that of the Testators Goods, Chattles & Credits do not amount in value to the sum of 600£
