George Wakeling of Nether Broughton 1892 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me George Wakeling Grazier of the Parish of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester

I appoint my Wife Sarah Wakeling and Thomas Skinner Grazier of Nether Broughton Executors of this my Will

I give and bequeath my houses and land and buildings situate in the said Parish of Nether Broughton to my Executors in trust to permit my said Wife Sarah Wakeling to have the use of and the income derived from the same during the term of her natural life And I give and bequeath the said property, after the decease of my said Wife, to my daughter Elizabeth Ann wife of Thomas Truman of Nether Broughton absolutely for her sole and separate use

And I give power to my Executors at the request of my said Wife Sarah Wakeling and with the consent of my said daughter Elizabeth Ann Truman to sell and convert into money the said property or any part thereof and to invest the proceeds in their joint names in some good and sufficient security with the consent of my said daughter Elizabeth Ann Truman and to pay the income arising therefrom to my said Wife Sarah Wakeling during her lifetime and the principal sum to be delivered up to my said daughter Elizabeth Ann Truman immediately after the death of my said wife, for her sole and separate use, and her receipt shall be sufficient discharge for the same

I give and bequeath my furniture, stock in trade, ready money and whatsoever I may die possessed of excepting what has been already mentioned & disposed to my said Wife Sarah Wakeling absolutely for her sole and separate use

In Witness whereof I the said George Wakeling have to this my Will set my hand this eighteenth day of July 1890

Proved at Leicester on the fifth day of March 1892 by the Oaths of Sarah Wakeling Widow the Relict and Thomas Skinner the Executors to whom Administration was granted

The Testator George Wakeling was late of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester Grazier and died on the eighteenth day of February 1892 at Nether Broughton aforesaid

Personal Estate Gross £217.8.3.  No deduction.
