In The name of god Amen I William Tubman of Hose being sicke in bodie but of perfect Remembrance (Thanks be to god for it) do make this my last will in This maner following
First I Comend my Soule to god and my bodie To the buried in The Churchyard of Hose Aforesaide
Item I do give to my sone Richard Tubman Twelve pence
Item To my sone Jhon Tubman Twentie shillings
Item To my sone William Tubman Twentie shillings
Item To my sone Edward Tubman Twentie shillings
And my will is that these aforenamed sumes of money shall be payde to my Children within one yeare next after my departure
Item my will is that if Ellen Tubman my wife do depart this life before the expiration of the lease of my house then William Tubman my sone shall have the reversion of my lease
The rest of my goods and Chattels unbequeathed (my debts and funerall expences discharged) I do give to Ellen Tubman my wife whome I do make the full executrix of this my last will and Testament
In witness whereof I the said William Tubman have set too my hand This 12th of August 1621
