This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Smith of Hose in the County of Leicester Widow

I devise all that my freehold cottage and premises situate at Hose aforesaid to my Daughter Eliza Ann Palmer absolutely and I also bequeath to her a Cow if she wishes to have one at my decease

I bequeath my furniture and household effects except such as have been bought by and belong to my said Daughter Eliza Ann Palmer to my Daughters Mary Emma and Esther in equal shares

I bequeath my Stock and all other my personal Estate whatsoever of which I shall die possessed not hereinbefore disposed of to my said Daughter Eliza Ann Palmer and my son John Palmer (hereinafter called my Trustees) Upon trust to pay thereout my debts funeral and testamentary expenses and subject thereto to divide the residue equally between my said Son John Palmer my Son George Palmer and my Grandson William Allsopp Palmer

I appoint the said Eliza Ann Palmer and John Palmer to be my Executors and I hereby revoke all former Wills and testamentary dispositions at any time heretofore made by me

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 7th day of December 1886

Signed and Declared by the above named Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses

Proved at Leicester on the thirteenth day of April 1889 by the Oaths of Eliza Ann Palmer, Spinster, the Daughter, and John Palmer, the Son, the Executors to whom administration was granted

The Testatrix Ann Smith was late of Hose in the County of Leicester Widow and died on the twenty eighth day of May 1888 at Hose aforesaid

Personal Estate Gross £46.  No deduction.
