This is the Last Will and Testament of me James Rippin of Stathern in the County of Leicester Blacksmith

First I Desire that all my Just Debts Legacies and funeral Expences be first thereout paid and Discharged

In the first place I Give and Bequeath unto my Eldest Son William Rippin All that my Messuage or Tenement and Orchard thereunto belonging Situate Standing lying and being in the Parish of Stathern aforesaid together with the outbuildings thereunto belonging and now in my own possession To hold to him his Heirs and Assigns for ever

Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Youngest Son James Rippin the Sum of one pound and also all my wearing apparel of all sorts to Delivered to him within Twelve Months next after my Decease by my Executor herein after Named

And Lastly All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Household Goods other Goods Stock Cattle Chattles and Personal Estate of what Nature or kind so ever I Give and Bequeath unto my said Son William Rippin whom I do hereby Nominate and appoint full and Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament hereby Revoaking all former Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made declaring this only to be by Last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said James Rippin the Testator have to this my Last Will and Testament Set my Hand and Seal this Second day of April in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Ninety two
