Eleanor Parnham of Stathern 1663 Will

February the 17th 1662

In the name of god amen I Elnor Parnam of Stathorne in the Countie of Leicester widdow being of perfect memory and Remembrance prised [sic] be god doe make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and forme as followeth

First I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of almighty god my maker hoping that through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour and Redeemer to receive free pardon and forgivenesse of all my sinnes and as for my body to bee buried in Christian buriall att the discretion of my executor hereafter nominated

It I give to my son Gregorie Parnam four sheepe if he come if not to my son Henry

Inpris I give and bequeath unto my sonn John Parnam all my Corne and my will and meaning is that my sonn John shall give unto my Daughter Dority Browne one quarter of barly and one quarter of pease

Item I give unto my sonn John Parnam one trus bed one Coverlid two blankets and two pare of sheetes one boulster one pillow

Item I give to my Daughter Dority Browne one kow

Item I give to my Daughter Tomsing Shippie one Coverlid halfe a flick of bacon two Cheeses of the best

Item I give unto Elnor Hoise one brass pott

I give to my Daughter Tomsing Shippies Daughter three ewes

It I give unto Mary Parnam two ewes

Item I give unto William Parnam two sheepe

It I give unto John Hoise and Elnor Hoise either of them two ewes

It I give unto my Daughter in law Alce Parnam one ewe and my new savegard and one … tub

It I give to my sonn John Parnam my part of horses and mares that is due unto me excepting the browne mare and I give him all my horne bease that is due unto me

Item I give unto Elnor Hoise one Cobert

It I give to my sonn John the deepe brasse pot

It I give to William Parnam my great brass pot

It I give unto Mary Parnam one press

It I give unto my granchild Elnor Hoise those goods that was my mothers

Item my will and meaning is after my finerall discharged and my will proved and all Reck paid betwixt my Sonn Henry and me then all my goods ungiven to be sould and then if any monye bee remaining to be devided amongst them all

It that money which is [“in” missing] Francis Sumners hand I leave to my sonn Jhon not as a leagacie for it was given him by his grandmother

It I give to my sonn Henry one quarter of barlie

It I make my son Henry Parnam my sole executor of this my last [“will” missing] and testament in witness I have set to my hand seale
