In the name of god Amen the 27th daie of Januarie 1632 I Richard Patchett of Stathern in the countie of Leic husbandman sicke of bodie but of perfect memorie (thanks be to Almightie god therefore) doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following
First I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of Almightie god my creator and my bodie to be buried in the Churchyard of Statherne aforesaid
Item I give and bequeath unto Roger Barnes a gallowtree and two hookes belonging to it and one Chaire
Item I give unto Nicholass Barnes the sonne of Roger Barnes one weather sheepe
Item I give unto Dorrothie Sumerbie my wives daughter one brasse potte and a panne
Item I give and bequeathe unto James Patchitt my brothers sonne a Heifer Calfe
Item I give unto Marke Hooton my nephew my best coate and a paire of Breeches
The residue of all my goods whatsoever my debts Legacies and funerall expences discharged I give unto Joane Patchett my wife whom I make sole executrix of this my last will and testament
In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand the daie and yeare above written
