Revd John Morres of Nether Broughton Leicester died possessed of

And by his will dated 11 February 1830 attested by three witnesses with a Codicil without date signature or attestation in the will appointed his son Philip Morres and Elliot Morres and Mary his wife joint Executors Probate was granted at Doctors Commons 27 September 1830 to Elliot Morres and Mary Morres (wife of the said Elliot Morres) the daughter of the deceased two of the Executors power reserved to Philip Morres a minor the son of the other Executor when he shall attain the age of twenty one years

In the will are the following words

I give to my son Philip Morres such proportion of the stock property standing in my name in the three per cent consol Bank Annuities as will produce the yearly dividend or interest of One hundred and forty five pounds

I give to my daughter Mary Morres such proportion of the stock property standing in my name in the three per cent Consol Bank Annuities as will produce a yearly dividend or interest of Two hundred and forty five pounds

Also I give to my said daughter Seven hundred and thirty five pounds in the New four per cents standing in my own name producing a yearly dividend or interest of twenty nine pounds eight shillings And I will and direct that the property given to my said daughter shall be at her own free will and disposal

I give the sum of £985 the produce of £1001 invested in the 4 per cents March 13 1829 to the said Elliot Morres and Mary his wife in trust

I give and bequeath all the rest and residue of my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever (subject to the payment of my debts legacies funeral and testamentary expences) unto my said son Phillip Morrres his exors and admors

I do hereby constitute and appoint Lt Genl William Guard and his sister Mary Anne Guard joint Trustees and Guardians under this my will for my said son and I do hereby direct that the whole of the property devised and bequeathed to my said son shall be under their especial direction and controul until he attains unto the full age of twenty four years

I do hereby appoint my said son Philip Morres and the said Elliot Morres and Mary his wife joint Executors and Executrix of this my last will
