Mann George heretofore of Hickling but late of Wymondham

This is the last Will and Testament of me George Mann of Hickling in the County of Nottingham Gentleman as follows

First I direct that all my just debts legacies funeral and Testamentary expences be fully paid

Then I Give and bequeath unto my Neice Mary Mintin (late Mary Wing) of Normanton in the County of Lincoln the Sum of One hundred pounds

Unto my Two Nephews John Mann and George Mann the Sum of Three hundred pounds apeice

Unto my Three Nephews John, Henry, and William Shilcock the Sum of One hundred pounds apeice and unto my Niece Ann Shipman of Stathern in the County of Leicester (late Ann Shilcock) the Sum of One hundred pounds

All which said several legacies I will shall be paid to them and each of them my said legatees within Twelve months after my decease

And subject thereto I Give Devise and bequeath All my Messuages Cottages Closes lands Tenements hereditaments and Real Estate whatsoever situate standing lying and being in Hickling aforesaid or elsewhere within the Kingdom of England with their and every of their rights members and appurtenances And also all my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever the same may be unto my Nephew William Mann of Wymondham in the said County of Leicester Grazier his heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever

And I do hereby appoint him the said William Mann Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and hereby Revoking all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Twenty Second day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventeen

Whereas I George Mann late of Hickling in the County of Nottingham but now of Wymondham in the County of Leicester Gentleman have made and duly executed My last Will and Testament in writing bearing date the Twenty Second day of July One thousand eight hundred and Seventeen Now I hereby declare this present writing to be a Codicil to my said Will and I do direct the same to be annexed thereto and taken as part thereof

Whereas Since the date and execution of my said Will I have purchased a certain Messuage or Tenement in which I now dwell and hereditament thereto belonging situate in Wymondham aforesaid Now I do hereby Give and Devise the same with the Appurtenances unto my Nephew William Mann his heirs and assigns for ever Subject and chargeable nevertheless with the payment of the following Annuity

I Give Devise and bequeath unto my Housekeeper Ann Fawkes and her assigns for and during such part of her natural life as she shall continue single and Unmarried One Annuity or clear Yearly Sum of Ten Pounds of lawful English money free of all Deductions whatsoever which I will shall be paid half yearly namely On the fifth day of April and the Tenth day of October in every year The first payment thereof to be made on either of the said half yearly days of payment as shall first happen after my decease And I Give to the said Ann Fawkes the same power of obtaining payment thereof as Landlords have for enforcing payment of Rents in Arrear

And I do hereby Ratify and confirm my said Will in all the other particulars thereof

In Witness whereof I the said George Mann have to this Codicil set my hand and Seal this Twenty first day of January One thousand eight hundred and Twenty five

Let a Probate be made to William Mann of Wymondham in the County of Leicester Farmer & Grazier the sole Executor named in the will and Codicil of the deceased who died [blank]

He having been duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the will and Codicil marked (A) as that the testators Goods Chattels and Credits without deducting Debts owing by him therefrom do not amount in value to the Sum of Three Hundred Pounds
