In the name of god Amen this 11th of January Ano don 1614 [1614/5] I Nicholas Johnson of Claxton in the Countie of Leceister Laborer, beinge sicke of bodye but of good & perfect memorye (praysed bee god) doe make this my last will & testament in manner followinge
First I give my soule to god that gave it & my bodye to be buried in the church yarde of Claxton aforesaide
Itim I give unto my sonne Robert Johnson and to every one of his three children xiid a peece
Itim I give unto my daughter Marye Johnson xiid
Itim I give unto my daughter Margaret Johnson xiid
Itim I give unto my servant Edward Wright vid
The rest of my goods & chattels unbequeaved I give unto my daughter Agnis Johnson Whome I make full executrix of this my last will & testament, to see my debts discharged & my bodie brought reverently to the grounde
Lastley I ordayne & make Mr Wright & Richard Forde overseers of this my last will and testament
