This is the last Will and Testament of me Matthew Jackson of Harby in the County of Leicester Butcher

I give and devise unto my dear Wife Elizabeth The House wherein I reside together with the Outbuildings Garden Orchard and appurtenances thereto belonging also the Home Close adjoining containing three acres or thereabouts situate at Harby and now in my own occupation for and during the term of her natural life if she should so long continue my Widow And after her death or second Marriage I give and devise the same premises unto my Second Son John Jackson his heirs and assigns for ever Subject to the payment of the following Legacies

To my Eldest Son William Jackson the sum of Two hundred pounds

To my Son James Jackson the sum of Two hundred pounds

To my Son Thomas Jackson the sum of Two hundred pounds

To my Daughter Elizabeth the Wife of Thomas Dickinson the sum of Two hundred pounds

And to my Daughter Ann the Wife of George Henry Dann the sum of One hundred and fifty pounds

All which said Legacies I direct shall be paid by my Executor hereinafter named within twelve calendar months next after my decease

I Give and Bequeath All my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said Son John Jackson Subject to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the Legacies by me hereinbefore given and bequeathed And I appoint my said Son John Jackson Sole Executor of this my Will hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty third day of July in the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven

The Testator Matthew Jackson was late of Harby in the County of Leicester Butcher and died on the eighteenth day of May 1870 at Harby aforesaid
