I Charles Hill of “Wembley House” Grimstone in the County of Leicester Grazier hereby revoke all testamentary disposition heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will which I make this twenty fourth day of September One thousand nine hundred and twenty five

1.            I appoint my Friend Sir William John Jones of “The Orchard” Waslingham [sic] in the County of Surrey and my Brother George Hill (hereinafter called “my Trustees”) to be the Executors and Trustees of my Will and I give to each of them who accepts the office of Executor and Trustee the sum of Twenty five pounds free of duty Provided that if the said William John Jones shall not act as an Executor and Trustee then I give to the said George Hill the sum of Fifty pounds free of duty if he shall act as an Executor and Trustee

2.            I direct that my Trustees shall repay to my Daughter Mabel Grace Easom all moneys which she may have lent to me or paid away on my behalf such as premiums on my life policies or otherwise whether the same shall be statute-barred or not

3.            I give my old Mares “Miss May” to my Son-in-law Harold Easom free of duty and I desire that she shall be shot at my death or when she is worn out and unable to work

4.            I give to my said Brother George Hill my best walking stick bearing date the Eighth day of April One thousand eight hundred and ninety six and I Desire my Daughters to give him any small piece of furniture he may choose

5.            I give to the said Harold Easom free of duty my mahogany writing desk in the dining room of my house and my trap and all the tools in the top yard and buildings at the rear of my house

6.            I give to my Daughters the said Mabel Grace Easom and Frances Pollie Hill free of duty all the residue of my furniture and household effects and garden and farm tools and implements in equal shares

7.            I give the following pecuniary legacies free of duty (namely)

To my son Charles Asher Hill the sum of One hundred pounds

To my Brother Wightman Hill the sum of Fifty pounds

To my Sister Lucy Hill the sum of Seventy five pounds

To my old servant Fred Stovker the sum of Ten pounds and

To my Grandson Montague Asher Hill the sum of Fifty pounds if and when he shall attain the age of eighteen years when the same shall be paid to him but without interest in the meantime and his receipt not withstanding his infancy shall be a good discharge to my Trustees for the said sum

8.            I devise and Bequeath all my Real and the residue of my Personal Estate to my Trustees upon Trust that my Trustees shall sell my Real Estate by auction and shall sell call in and convert into money my Personal Estate and shall stand possessed of the net moneys to arise from such sale calling in and conversion and of my ready money after payment thereout of my funeral testamentary expenses and debts and the legacies hereby given which with the duties thereon shall be paid primarily out of my Personal Estate In Trust for all or any my children or child the said Mabel Grace Easom, Frances Pollie Hill, Charles Asher Hill and Percival Harry Hill and my said Grandchild Montague Asher Hill who shall survive me and (as to my said Grandchild), shall attain the age of Twenty one years but so that the share of my said Grandchild shall be less than the share of each of my said children by the sum of One thousand one hundred pounds and that the shares of my said children shall be equal

9.            I direct that my Trustees shall invest the share of my said Grandchild unto he shall attain the age of Twenty one years in or upon any of the investments for the time being authorised for the investment of trust funds and shall pay or apply the income thereof to or for his maintenance education or benefit as my Trustees shall think fit with full power to pay the said income or any part thereof to the parents or parent of my said Grandchild

10.          In Witness whereof I the said Charles Hill have to this my last Will (contained on three sheets of paper) set my hand the day and year first before written

Signed and Declared by the said Charles Hill as and for his last Will in the presence of us both present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses
