In the name of God Amen The Twenty Sixt day Of March 1711 Acording to the Computation of the Church of England I Robert Hickling of Claxton Ales Long Clawson In the County of Leicester labring man Beeing weak of body but of a Sound and perfect mind and Memory praised bee all mighty God for It doe make and ordain this my Last will and testament in maner and form as Folling that is to sa

First and principally I commend my sol In to the hands of almighty my Creater hoping through the Merits of Jesus Christ my only Saver and Redeemed to Receve Full pardon of all my Sins and be maid and partaker of life everlasting and as for my body I Commit to the earth from whenc it was taken to be buried in such maner as my Executors here after named shall think fit and Convenent and as touching that temporall Estate which the lord in marcy hath lent mee I dispose of it in maner and forme following

First I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elisabeth Hickling the sum of thirty pounds at her mother deseased or the house and orchard and there unto belongeth of the said Robert Hickling [sic for this bequest]

Item all the rest and residue of my Goods and Chattels and personal Estate I give and bequeath unto my loving wife and son Robert Hickling this Condition that they pay all my debts and funarll expenses

Lastly I make and ordane & appoint my wife Elisabeth Hickling and my son Robert Hickling Joyne Sole Executors of this my last will and Testament

In wittness whereof I the said Robert Hickling Doe hereby Revoke and make void all former wills and Testaments seting hereunto my hand and seal the date and year first above writen
