Richard Hawley of Long Clawson 1721 Will and Inventory

Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Archives, Leicestershire Wills and Probate Records 1721

December 28 day 1720

In the name of god Amen I Richard Hawley of Claxton in the County of Leicester yeoman doe make and ordaine this to be my Last will and testiment in maner foloing

First and principly I bequeaive my sole to god that gaive it mee and my body to the Earth from whence it was taken to be buried att the decreision of my Executor heare after named

Ittam I give unto my son in law Petter Huard of Glenfeild one shilling and no more

Ittam I give unto my granddaughter Ann Huard five pounds to be paid hir at the years of one and twenty

Ittam I give unto my grandson Ricard Howard of Glenfield five pounds to be paid to him by my Executors when hee shall attaine to the age of one and twenty years

All the Rest of my Children and grandchildren I give unto them five shillings apeece

And I doe revok all other wills maid by me but this and I doe make My Son John Hawley Full Executor of all my goods and Chattels which I give unto him hee painge My dets and Legacies
