I Henry Glover of the Parish of Chadwell do hereby declare this to be my last Will and Testament made by me this Twenty first day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy five

As I have an equal affection and love for all my Children they will understand that it is only through the confidence which I have in my Wife Mary Glover that she will at her death leave fairly and equally any property of mine which she may not previously have disposed of for her own use and benefit, between all the surviving Children (or their representatives) which have been born to me by her therefore with the exception of the few articles which I immediately will name I leave my dear wife Mary Glover my sole executrix and legatee & residuary legatee and do hereby will that she shall have full power to dispose of any or all my property monies & effects for her sole use and benefit, though I wish that she will respect my wishes above named

To my dear Wife therefore Mary Glover I bequeath all properties & monies whatsoever I may die possessed of

To my daughter Ellen Ashley I bequeath all the China not being common earthernware at her Mothers death, as well as a Bed quilt made by herself and which is marked with her name

To my Son John I bequeath the Clarionette

To my Son Kyme I will & bequeath the poker which he expressed a wish to have as also the Bass Viol or Fiddle

And this I declare in the presence of two Witnesses namely Malcolm Bush Wynn and [blank] to be my last Will & testament as see my signature this Twenty first day of April One thousand eight hundred & seventy five

This Will and testament of Henry Glover was signed and delivered in the presence of us this Twenty first day of April one thousand eight hundred & seventy five

Proved at Leicester on the Twentieth day of September 1883 by the Oath of Mary Glover Widow the Relict the sole Executrix to whom Administration was granted

The Testator Henry Glover was formerly of Chadwell and late of Eastwell both in the County of Leicester Farm Laborer and died on the Seventh day of July 1883 at Eastwell aforesaid
