In the name of god Amen in the yeres of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord James by the grace of god kinge of England Scotland Frannce & Ireland the tenth & of Scotland the fortieth sixe I Lewis Giggar of Hoose beinge sicke in bodie yet thanks be to god of good & perfect remembrance doe make & ordeine this my last will & testament in manner & forme followinge

First I bequeath my soule into the hands of Thallmightie my maker & Jesus Christe my redeemer under whose precious bloude I hope to be saved & my bodie to be buried in the churche yarde of Hoose

Imprimis I bequeath unto my daughter Theophiley Tenne pownds

Item I doe give & bequeath unto my daughter Agnis Tenne powndes

It I doe give unto my daughter Elinor Tenne pownds

It I doe give unto my daughter Elizabeth Tenne pounds & if my wife doe happen to be nowe with childe I doe give unto it sixe pound

And if any of theis my children doe depart & decease this mortall life before they come to lawfull age or sufficient discression to dispose theire parte my will is that every one so deceased theire parts to remaine to the survivor or survivors of my children equally to be devided

And further my will is that all the abovesaid childrens parts be paid unto them or the survivors hereof to be put forth to & for the best use of my said children at or before the daie of the marriage of my wife or the daie of her death or at the age of sixteene yeres or which doe first happen

It I doe give unto every one of my said children a Ewe hogge to every one a Ewe & at the next lamminge I doe give to every one of them A Ewe & a lam to goe forward to their use

It I doe give unto Willm Hicklings three children three lammes

It I doe give unto James Halle twoe yewes next after my departure Eyther yere a roode of Barley

It I doe give unto his towe children fower pence a peece

It I doe give unto Richard Halle children fower pence a pece

It I doe give unto Thomas Halle childe fower pence

My bodie lawfully buried my debts legacies & funerall discharged all the rest of my goods cattaile & chattailes moveable & unmoveable whatsoever unbequeathed I doe give unto Agnis Giggar my welbeloved wife whom I doe make my full executrix of this my last will & testament, And doe apoint my beloved frends William Croson James Hand & Willm Hicklinge supervisors of this my last will & testament & also overseers for my children
