In the name of god Amen I William Garett of Hose in the Countie of Leicester Webster being sicke in bodie but of perfect memorie (praysed be god for it) do ordayne and make this my last will in this manor following
First I Comend my Soule to god, and I do give unto George Thomas and Margaret Garett my naturall Children the Summe of 50 shillings Apeece to be payd unto them at the age of one and Twentie yeres And if Elisabeth my wife do Change to marryd againe then my will is that she shall paye unto the aforesayd George Thomas and Margaret the full Summe of five pounds apeece even upon the day of her marriage
Item I do give unto my Sonne John Garrett 12d and Also I do ordayne that the said John Barrett shall have and enioye All that my Cottage with the demeanes … to the same lying in the Towne and fields of Hose affore sayd to him and his heires forever after the decease of his mother
The rest of my goods unbequeathed (my debts and funarall expences discharged) I give unto Elizabeth Garett my wife whome I do make the full executrix of this my last will
