In the name of god Amen I Edward Faukes of Clauston in the Countye of Leicester Tayler (being sicke of Body, but of good and perfect memory (praised be god) doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manar following

Impris I give and bequeath my soule to god that gave it and my bodye to bee buried in the Church yearde of Clauston aforesaide

Item I give unto my loveing wife Judith Faukes all my goodes moveable & unmoveable who I make full and sole executrix, to see my debts payed and discharged, and my body brought reverently to the ground

Lastly I make and ordaine my Cosen Edwarde More yeoman and Richard Holte husbandman Overseers of this my last will and Testament giveing to ether of them sixe pence a peece
