In the name of God Amen the 9 day of June 1690 According to the Computation of the Church of England I John Dixon of Stathorne in the County of Leicestershire butcher being of perfect memory and remembrance praised be god do make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following viz

First I bequeath my soule into the hands of almighty God my maker hoping that through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my only saviour and redeemer to Receve free Pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and as for my body to be buried in Christian burial att the Discretion of my Executor here after nominated

It I give unto Anne my wife my Cottage house yard and Common and Commons with all other the premisses thereto belonging for and Dureing her Naturall life And after her Decease I give my Cottage house with all the Premisses thereto belonging unto my sonne John Dixon and my Daughter Anne Dixon and my Daughter Jane Dixon to be equally Devidedd amongst them: to them and theire heires for ever

Item all the rest of my goods I give unto Anne my wife for her naturall life and after at her Disposseing

We whose hands are herunto subscribed doth witnes this the last will and meaning of John Dixon Late deceased
