Charles Chester of Nether Broughton 1806 Will

In the Name of God Amen I Charles Chester of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester being weake and sick in Body but of a good disposing Memory and understanding praised be God for the same

First I Give and bequeath to my Sons and Daughter namely Brett Chester Benjamin Chester Joseph Chester Elizabeth Chester William Chester John Chester Michal Chester the Sume of one shilling each to be paid by my Executrix herein after named

All the rest Goods Chattles and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever belonging to mee I Give to my wife whom I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoking any Will by me at any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said Testator Charles Chester have hereunto sett my hand and Seal this fifteenth day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven

Signed seald published and declared by the Said Charles Chester as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us and at the request of the said Testator

Let Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the within named Charles Chester deceased with his will annexed be granted and committed under Seal to the within named Joseph Chester the natural and lawful Son and sole Executor named in the last Will and Testament of the within named Hannah Chester, who whilst living was the sole Executrix and residuary Legatee named in the said will and who survived the said Testator but afterwards died without having proved the said Will

He being duly sworn as well to the faithful Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased according to the Tenor and Effect of his said will as that the said Goods Chattels and Credits do not amount in value to the sum of One hundred pounds
