This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Carter of Goadby Marwood in the County of Leicester Widow
First I direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses to be fully paid
I give and bequeath all my money securities for money Goods Chattels and all other my personal Estate and Effects of whatsoever nature or kind the same may consist of to which I may be entitled at the time of my decease unto and equally between my two Children John Thomas Carter and Lucy Ann Shipman their executors administrators and assigns absolutely
And I hereby appoint my Brother Joseph Copley of Melton Mowbray in the said County Farmer Executor of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made
In Witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Carter the Testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand this Eighteenth day of May One thousand eight hundred and seventy

The Testatrix Elizabeth Carter was late of Goadby Marwood in the County of Leicester Widow and died on the Fifth day of August 1883 at Goadby Marwood aforesaid
