In the name of God Amen The Twenty Eight day of October in the year of our Ld God One Thousand Six hundred Eighty & Five I Richard Blankley of Plungar in the County of Leicester, being of good & perfect memory, praised be Almighty God for it, do make & ordain this my last will & Testament in manner & form following That is to Say
First I commend my soul in the hands of Almighty God my maker & Creator hoping assuredly thro the merits of Jesus Christ my only Saviour & Redeemer to be made partaker of everlasting life And my body to the earth from whence it came to be decently buried according to the discretion of my Executors hereafter named in the Churchyard of Plungar aforesd
And as for the worldly estate which god of his mercy hath lent unto me I dispose of & bequeath it in manner & form following
First I give to my Son Henry one Bible & one Shilling
Likewise I give to my Son Thomas fifty shillings, one ew & lamb
To my Son Robert I give Two pounds
To my Son John Two pounds
Likewise I give & bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Blankley Two pounds, one Bedstead, one pair of flaxen sheets, one Blanket, one pillow, on pillow bear, one brass pot, one small pan, two pewter dishes, & one ew & lamb
Likewise I give to my daughter Anna Two pounds, & one ew & lamb
Likewise I give to my daughter Mary Two pounds
Likewise I give to daughter Alice Two pounds
All the rest of my Goods, chattels & estate not before given or bequeathed (my debts, Legacies, & funeral expences being discharged) I give & bequeath to Elizabeth my wife & Richard my Son, whom I hereby make & appoint full Executors of this my last will & Testament & my will is that if Elizabeth my wife shall marry to any one, after my decease, that she resign the farm & quietly put my Son Richard into possession of the same
And I do revoke all former wills and Testaments heretofour at any time by me made
