William Bell of Ab Kettleby 1729 Will and Inventory

In the name of God Amen the Twenty fourth day of Aprill in the yeare 1726 According to the Computation of the Church of England I William Bell sener of Ab Kettleby in the County of Leicester husbandman being of perfect memory and Remembrance praised be God do make and ordaine this my Last will and Testament in Manner and forme Following

First I Be Queath my soul to the hands of Allmighty God my Maker hopeing that through the Meritorious Death and passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to Receive free pardon and for giveness of all my Sins and as for my body to be Buried in Christian Buriall at the discretion of my Executor hereafter Nomminated

Item I give unto my son Henry one Shilling to be paid unto him within six Months after my Decease

Item I give unto my son Thomas one Shilling to be paid as aforesaide

Item I give to my son John one Shilling to be paid as aforesaide

Item I give to my Daughter Hanah Garner one Shilling to be paid as aforesaide

Item I give to my Daughter Mary Limberd one Shilling to be paid unto her as aforesaide

Item I give unto My Son William all my goods and chattells and parsnall Estate whatsoever upon condition that he shall pay all my debts and Legacies and funerall charges and doe Make him my Sole Executor of this my Last will and Testament and utterly Revoke all former Wills that hath Been by me Made
