This is the last Will and Testament of me John Gardner Barker of Goadby Marwood in the County of Leicester made this twenty seventh day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four
I hereby revoke all Wills made by me at any time heretofore
I appoint John Barker Farmer Ragdale and Charles Goodland Farmer Great Dalby to be my Executors and direct that all my Debts and Funeral Expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease
I give and bequeath unto my Son John my Watch & Chain, Bureau, Gun, and Wardrobe to my daughter AM Morley the sum of Five pounds for her 2 daughters, Edna & Hylda
I also direct that my Rifle prizes to be divided between my 3 children
To my Wife Maria Barker the Stock & c on the farm, should she decline Agricultural pursuits my son John to have the farm and the use of the dead stock, and Valuation on the farm, at the Rate of 3½ per cent, the live stock to be sold, the money to be invested, or put out to use, the Interest (in each case) to be paid to the said Maria Barker as long as she remains my Widow, at her death the Estate to be realised and divided between my 3 children, John, Horace, and Annie Mary their Heirs, or assigns
