This is the last Will and Testament of me Daniel John Barker of Holwell in the County of Leicester Farmer

I appoint my son Edmund Barker and Josiah Gill of Melton Mowbray in the said County of Leicester Grocer (hereinafter called “my Trustees”) Trustees and Executors of this my Will and they or the survivor of them or the executors or administrators of such survivor or other the Trustees or Trustee for the time being of this my Will are hereinafter called my Trustees

I bequeath my Pianoforte and Music Stool to my daughter Mary Barker absolutely

I also bequeath to the said Edmund Barker and Josiah Gill the Legacy of Ten pounds apiece if they shall respectively prove my Will and accept the trusts thereof and to my Wife Margaret Barker the Legacy of Two hundred pounds to be paid to her at the expiration of six calendar months from my decease

I devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate not hereby otherwise disposed of Unto my Trustees Upon Trust that my Trustees shall sell call in and convert into money the same or such part thereof as shall not consist of money and shall with and out of the moneys produced by such sale calling in and conversion and with and out of such part of my personal estate as shall consist of money pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and the above legacies and shall stand possessed of the residue of the said monies (hereinafter called the said residuary trust funds) In trust for such of my children as shall survive me and if more than one as tenants in common in equal shares except that the share of each of my sons who shall survive me shall be greater in amount by the sum of One hundred Pounds than the share of each of my Daughters who shall survive me

And I declare that if any child of mine shall die in my lifetime leaving a child or children who shall survive me such last mentioned child or children shall take and if more than one equally between them the share which his her or their parent would have taken of and in the said residuary trust funds if such parent had survived me

And I revoke all testamentary dispositions by me heretofore made

Proved at Leicester on the seventh day of August 1891 by the Oaths of Edmund Barker, the son, and Josiah Gill the Executors to whom Administration was granted

The Testator Daniel John Barker was late of Holwell in the County of Leicester Farmer and died on the thirtieth day of May 1891 at Holwell aforesaid
