This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward Alderman of Stathern in the County of Leicester

I appoint my son William and my nephew William Alderman to be the Executors of this my Will and I direct them to pay all my just debts (except Mortgage debts) funeral and testamentary expenses as soon as conveniently may be after my decease

I give to my son William all my household furniture and effects of every kind absolutely subject nevertheless (if and in so far as my other personal estate is not sufficient) to the payment of my said debts and funeral and testamentary expenses

I devise my freehold house and premises situate at Stathern aforesaid lately occupied by Mr Jonathan Askew and now by his widow to my son Thomas in fee simple

I give devise and bequeath all the residue of my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever to my said son William in fee simple and absolutely subject to the payment of the following legacies namely twenty pounds to my daughter Ellen Holehouse twenty pounds to my son Jim twenty pounds to my grandson Tommy Alderman and ten pounds to each of the three children of my deceased son Frederick born to him of Mrs Bramley who shall attain and on attaining twenty one years of age to whom I give the same legacies respectively

And lastly I revoke all former Wills

This is a Codicil to the last Will of me Edward Alderman of Stathern in the County of Leicester dated the sixth day of February last I revoke the legacies of ten pounds given to each of the three children of my deceased son Frederick born to him of Mrs Bramley and in all other respects I confirm my said will

As witness my hand this third day of July one thousand nine hundred and nine

This is a Second Codicil of the last Will and Testament of me Edward Alderman of Stathern in the County of Leicester Whereas my son Thomas Alderman has died I therefor hereby give devise and bequeath unto Fanny Alderman the Widow of my said son Thomas Alderman absolutely all the share interest and property given to my said Son Thomas Alderman by my said Will

In other respects I confirm my said Will and the First Codicil thereto
