This is the last Will and Testament of John Wilford Joiner and Farmer of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester

I give and bequeath to my Son Thomas Wilford all my Carpenters Tools

As to the residue of my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what kind soever I give and bequeath it absolutely to my Wife Hannah Wilford for her sole use and benefit during her life or for so long a time as my said Wife remains unmarried

Upon the death of the said Hannah Wilford my Wife or in the event of her marrying again I direct that the aforesaid residue of my Personal Estate be divided in equal shares among my then surviving children

And I hereby nominate and appoint William Wilford of Wartnaby in the County of Leicester and Joseph Stokes of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester to be executors of this my Will

Dated this nineteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven

At Leicester on the Eighth day of June 1877 Administration (with the Will annexed) of the Personal Estate of John Wilford late of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester Joiner and Farmer deceased who died on the First day of April 1877 at Nether Broughton aforesaid was granted to Hannah Wilford Widow the Relict the Residuary Legatee for life if she remain a Widow named in the said Will she having been first sworn William Wilford and Joseph Stokes the Executors named in the said Will having duly renounced the Probate and Execution thereof
