Elizabeth Whittle of Long Clawson 1815 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Whittle of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester (Widow and Relict of Thomas Whittle late of the same place Farmer and Grazier deceased)

First I direct that all such Debts as I shall justly owe at the time of my decease and my Funeral and Testamentary Expenses be paid by my Executor hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease

I Give and Bequeath unto my youngest Daughter Ann Whittle the Bed now standing in the Parlour of my Dwelling House in Long Clawson

And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my Household Goods and Furniture Stock in Trade Implements of Husbandry and all other my personal Estate and Effects of what nature or kind soever the same may be or consist of I Give and Bequeath the same (Subject as aforesaid) unto my Son Thomas Whittle his Executors Administrators and Assigns And do hereby Nominate and appoint my said Son Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Whittle the Testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament Set my Hand and Seal this Ninth day of January One Thousand eight Hundred and Eleven

Let a probat be granted to Thomas Whittle of Long Clawson Farmer sole Executor within named He the said Thomas Whittle being duly sworn as well to the faithful execution of the Will as that the Testator’s Goods, Chattels & Credits do not amount in value to the sum of two hundred pounds
