In the Name of God amen I William Wheatley of Claxon Als Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Coardwaner do this fifteenth Day of November one thousand Seven Hundred and fifty Eight Make and ordain this My Last Will and Testament in Manner following

I give and devise to My Brother Scampton Wheatley for the Use of My Wife and Chilldren as their trustee My House in which I Live and all thereto belonging to bring up my Chillden and to discharge My Lawfull Debts and If My Wife shall continue a widdow till my Chillden are grown up to the Age of twenty one years

After I have Discharged My Brothers debts and his Wife continue a widdow then all his Land and Efects Real and personall Shall Desend to my Wife to bring up my Chilldren and to pay there portions

Itam my Will and Mind is that my Chilldren shall have (Viz) Mary Wheatley Anna and Sarah and William and Elizabeth Wheatley when they come Each to the Age of one and twenty years the Sum of twenty pound Each

And Lastly my will and mind is that if My Wife should Marry again after my Brother Scampton has Discharged my Debts then my Will and mind is that my  Estate and all my Efects shall Return to my Brother Scampton Wheatley to take care to bring up my Chilldren and do also Authorise my Said Brother Scampton Wheatley to Sell my Land to bring up My Chilldren and to pay their portions and to Allow my Wife only My Household goods only for her Life and then they shall be Returned to my Chilldren and further if my Brother Scapton Wheatley Should Die then I authorise my Sd Brother Wheatley to procure a guardian in his Stead

And I Make My Brother Scampton Sole Executor of this my Last will and Testament for the purpose a Bove mentioned Revokeing all former wills and Testamens and make my Brother Scampton Wheatley Sole Excecutor of all my Goods Cattle & Chattles

In wittness whereof I Wm Wheatley the Testator have set to my hand and Seal the Day & Year first above Written
