In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Wesbye of Hickling in the Countie of Nottingham Batchilor being att present weake in body but of sound and perfect memorie praysed be God therefore doe make this my last will and Testament in manner and forme followinge

First I Comend my Soule into the hands of Allmightie God hopeing to be saved by the All Sufficient merritts of Jesus Christe my onelie Saviour and Redeember and my bodie to be buryed in Christian buriall in the Church or Church yard of Hicklinge aforesaid

And as Concerninge those wordly [sic] goods which itt hath pleased God to bestowe on mee I doe dispose of them in manner and forme followinge

First I give to William Wesbye my eldest brother Twentie Pounds to be paid to him within Twelve Monethes nexte after my Decease

Item I give to Anne Wesbye my Sister Tenn pounds of Currant English money and Two Todds of Wolle to bee payd to her within Twelve Monethes next after my decease

Item I give to the poore of the parrish of Hicklington [sic] aforesaid the Some of fortie shillings To be paid unto them within Twelve Monethes next after my decease

Item I give to my God Children Twelve pence apeece

Item I give to Richard Dibels, John Barrow, Margarett Pilkinton, Mary Pritgett, John Dodson, William West, Mary Goadebye, Elizabeth Gambley, Robert Matthew, Joane Marrett Twelve pence apeece

All the rest of my goods unbequeathed my debts being paid, and funerall charges discharged I give unto George Wesbye and Richard Wesbye my loveing brothers whome I doe make Ordaine Constitute and appoint Executors of this my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the fourth day of November in the yeare of our Lord God 1656

This Will was Proved att London the first day of December in the yeare of our Lord God one thowsand Six Hundred fiftie and Seaven Before the Judges for Probate of Wills and grauntinge Administracons lawfully Authorized by the Oaths of George and Richard Wesbye the brothers of the said deceased and sole Executors named in the Said Will To whome was Committed Administracon of all and Singular the goods Chattles and debts of the Said deceased They being first legally Sworne by Commission well and truelie to Administer the same
