In the name of god Amen The xxvth daye of Januarie in the yeare of our Lord god 1586 I Elizabeth Watsonn of Harbie in the Countie of Leicester beinge sicke in bodie, but of perfecte memory do ordayne constitute & make this my last will and testament in manner & forme followinge

First I bequeth my soule to Allmightye god, trusting in his mercye onlie to be saved by the merits & passion of our Saviour Jesus Christ and my boodie to be buryed in the Churchyarde of Harbie

Concerninge my temporall goods my mynde is to bestow them as followeth

First I geve and bequeath to Henry my Sonne xiii li vis viiid besides iii li vis viiid which is due unto him by his fathers will

Itm I geve I bequeeth unto my Sonne Richard Watsonn iii li & one Cowe

Item I geve & bequeath unto my daughter Cicelye Watsonn xvi li xiiis iiiid to bee paid to her the one half within halfe a yere after my deceasse and the other halfe the same day twelve monthes after, besides vi li xiiis iiiid bequeathed unto her by her fathers will

Itm I geeve & bequeath unto the said Cicelie one Mattresse, ii pillowes, one bolster, 2 pillowbeers, the best Coverledd, & one other Coverled, 2 paire of flaxen sheets, & one paire of good harden sheets

Itm I bequeath unto Alice Soppe one ewe & a lambe

Itm I geeve unto Katheren Watsonn a yeerlinge Calfe

Itm I geve unto Thomas Watsonn one strike of Wheate which hee oweth me & one strike moore after my deceasse

Itm I geve unto his Children amongst them 2 ewes

Itm I geve unto John Watsonn his Children every one an ewe

Itm I geve unto Elizabeth Pyne one paire of Harden sheets & one sheepe hogge

Itm I geve to Robarte Dann [looks like Daye on the probate copy] one strike of Barlie

Itm I geve unto every one of my god Children in the towne of Harbie every one iiiid

Itm I geve unto the poore in Harbie iiis iiiid

The rest of all my goods moveable & immoveable unbequeathed my debts beinge payed & my buriall discharged I do geve unto my sonne Willm Watsonn whom I do make my lawfull executor of this my last will

Allso I do make Willm Pettie & John Watsonn the supervisors of the same, & to them I geve for their paynes to either of them xiid
