In the Name of God Amen I Isaac Watkin of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Labourer do this thirteenth Day of July one Thousand Seven Hundred and fifty three make and ordain this My Last Will and Testament in Manner following

Imprimis I give to my Loving Wife Elizabeth Watkin all My Substance which God hath Lent me in this World on the Condition that Shee Continueth a Widdow, but if Shee Marrieth again, then my Will and Minde is that Shee Shall pay to My Son Isaac Watkin the Sum of Ten pounds when he Cometh to the Age of one and twenty years and further my Will and Mind is that my Said Wife Elizabeth Watkin Shall bring up my Son Isaac Watkin till he is capable to provide for him self

And Lastly I make my Loving Wife Elizabeth Watkin full Executrix of this my Last will & Testament on the above Said Condition of all my Goods Cattle and Chattles Revokeing all former wills & Testaments: and do make and ordain as before mentioned my Loving Wife Elizabeth Watkin Sole Executrix of all my Goods Cattle & Chattles in wittness where of I the Said Isaac Watkin the Testator have here unto Set my Hand and Seal the Day & Year first above Written
