Jarvis Watchorn of Chadwell 1731 Will and Inventory

In the Name of God Amen I Jarviss Watchorne of Chadwell in the County of Leicester yeoman being weak in health but of sound & disposing mind & memory & Considering the Certainty of death & the uncertainty of the time thereof do make Constitute & appoint this my last will & Testament in manner & forme following (that is to say)

First & principally I Committ & Commend my soul in to the hands of Almighty God who gave it me assuredly hoping thro the meritorious death & passion of my Ever blessed Redemer Christ Jesus to obtained free pardon of my sins & to be made partaker of Everlasting felicity & my Body I Committ to the Earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named & as to my worldly Estate wherewith God hath Blessed me I Give & dispose thereof as follows

Impris I Give & bequeath unto my daughter Jane Watchorne the sume of thirty pounds of Good & lawfull money of Great Brittaine to be paid her in six months after my decease by my Executrix hereinafter named

Item I Give & bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Watchorne the sume of thirty pounds of like money to be paid her as she shall attaine her age of one & twenty years by my Executrix hereinafter named

Item I Give & bequeath unto my daughter Alice Watchorne the sume of thirty pounds of like money to be paid her when she shall attaine her age of one & twenty years by my Executrix hereinafter named

Item I Give & bequeath all the rest of my Goods Chattells & personall Estate whatsoever not herein before by me bequeathed unto my dear and loving wife Elizabeth Watchorne whom I make my sole Executrix of this my last will & Testament And I do hereby revoke all former wills by me made

In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seal the Eighteenth day of November in the ninth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George over Great Brittaine &c King Annoq Dni 1722
