This if the last Will and Testament of me James Watchorn of Harby in the County of Leicester Farmer

First I will that all my just debts be paid And I give and bequeath all and singular my Live and dead Stock Hay Corn Grain and Implements of Husbandry Monies and Securities for Money subject to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary Expences unto my Son William Watchorn his Executors Administrators and Assigns to and for his and their own Use and benefit absolutely for ever

And I give and bequeath unto my Son John Watchorn the Legacy or Sum of Twenty pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid to him by my Executor hereinafter named within Six Calendar Months next after the decease of my Wife Ann Watchorn

Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary the Wife of Joseph Stubbs of Hose in the County of Leicester Butcher the Legacy or Sum of Twenty pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid to her by my Executor hereinafter named within six Calendar Months next after the decease of my said Wife the said Anne Watchorn

Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah the Wife of Thomas Killingley of Stonesby in the County of Leicester Farmer the legacy or Sum of Twenty pounds of like lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid to her by my Executor hereinafter named within six Calendar Months next after the decease of my said Wife the said Anne Watchorn

Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Charlotte the Widow of William Page late of Derby in the County of Derby and now of Bottesford in the County of Leicester deceased the Legacy or Sum of Twenty pounds of like Money of Great Britain to be paid to her by my Executors hereinafter named within Six Calendar Months next after the decease of my said Wife the said Anne Watchorn

And I do hereby declare it to be my mind and Will that the said respective Legacies hereinbefore by me given and bequeathed to the said John Watchorn Mary Stubbs Sarah Killingley and Charlotte Page shall be considered a vested Interest or vested Interests in the respective Legatees from the time of my decease and be transmissible to his her or their respective representatives in case of his her or their or any of their deaths before the same shall become payable under of by virtue of this my Will

And I give devise and bequeath all and every my Cottages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and real Estate whatsoever situate lying and being in the Parish of Harby aforesaid or elsewhere in the said County of Leicester And also the Use of all and singular my Household Goods and Furniture Plate Linen and China And all the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever the same my be (except as before excepted) unto my said Wife the said Anne Watchorn for and during the term of her natural life And from and immediately after her decease I give devise and bequeath the said Cottages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and real Estate situate at Harby aforesaid or elsewhere in the said County of Leicester together with all and singular my Household Goods and Furniture Plate Linen and China and the rest residue and remainder of my Monies and Securities for Money personal Estate and Effects of what nature or kind soever the same may be (subject to the payment of the several Legacies hereinbefore by me given and bequeathed) unto my said Son the said William Watchorn his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns absolutely for ever

And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Son the said William Watchorn sole Executor of this my Will

And lastly revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made I do publish and declare these two sheets of paper written on one side only and each of them signed by me to contain my last Will and Testament this Fourteenth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty nine

These two sheets of Paper written on one side only were each of them signed by the said James Watchorn the Testator and were by him published and declared as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our Names as Witnesses thereto

On the 12th day of October 1861 the Will of James Watchorn late of Harby in the County of Leicester Farmer was proved by the Oath of William Watchorn Son of the deceased the sole Executor named in the Will he having been first sworn duly to administer

Sworn under £300 and that the Testator died on the 9th day of September 1860
