Elizabeth Watchorn of Chadwell 1823 will

This is the last Will and Testament of me Elisabeth Watchorn of Chadwell in the County of Leicester Widow

In the first place I will that all my just debts and funeral expences be paid and discharged by my Executrix hereinafter mentioned

I give & bequeath unto my sister Sarah Plowright of Dunsby in the County of Lincoln Widow all my property moneys goods chattels effects household furniture wearing apparel &c whatsoever and wheresoever to be by her enjoyed during the term of her natural life

At her decease I give and bequeath the said property moneys goods &c unto her daughter Ann Plowright

I also nominate and appoint the said Sarah Plowright of Dunsby aforesaid the whole & sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me heretofore made and this only to be my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this twelfth day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty two

Be it known to all Men by these presents that I Elisabeth Watchorn of Chadwell in the County of Leicester have made and declared my last Will and Testament bearing date the twelfth day of October One thousand eight hundred and twenty two

I do hereby ratify and confirm the same and do further give and bequeath unto my brothers John Beend of Long Bennington near Newark Notts and William Beend of Kirkby neare Sleaford Lincolns one shilling each

I also give unto my sisters Eleanor Beend and Mary Hickling of Granby one shilling each to be paid them by my Executrix out of my property

And my desire is that this Codicil be looked upon as a part of my last Will and Testament

Witness my hand this twenty eighth day of November One thousand eight hundred and twenty two
