This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph Walker of Holwell in the County of Leicester Farmer

I give to my Sons Joseph Reuben and Thomas and to my Daughters Sarah the Wife of John Milnes and Julia the Wife of John Kirk the legacy or sum of five pounds each

I give to my Daughter Mary Ann the Legacy or sum of one hundred and sixty pounds

And I bequeath all the residue of my Personal estate unto my Son Jesse subject to the payment of my debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the Legacies by me hereinbefore given

And I appoint my said Son Jesse Sole Executor of this my Will

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty second day of October in the year One thousand eight hundred and eighty three

Signed by the said Joseph Walker in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses the word “Son” in the eleventh line having been first interlined

Proved at Leicester on the thirteenth day of June 1887 by the Oath of Jesse Walker the Son, the sole Executor to whom Administration was granted

The Testator Joseph Walker was late of Holwell in the County of Leicester Farmer and died on the tenth day of February 1887 at Holwell aforesaid
