This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah Turner of Plumtree in the County of Nottingham Spinster

I revoke all testamentary dispositions at any time heretofore made by me

I appoint Sidney Harwood of Stanton on the Wolds in the said County and Harry Wilkinson of 35 Bramcote Road Beeston in the said County to be Executors of this my Will And I bequeath to each of them the sum of Ten pounds free of all death duties

I bequeath the following legacies all free of all death duties

To my sister Elizabeth Turner of The Cottage Plumtree in the County of Nottingham the sum of One hundred pounds

I bequeath to my sister Emma Wilkinson wife of Robert Wilkinson [“of” missing] Bramscote in the County of Nottingham the sum of One hundred pounds

I bequeath to my sister Mary Ann Hill wife of George William Hill of Eastbury End Northwood in the County of Middlesex the sum of One hundred pounds

I bequeath to my niece Edith Mary Biven the wife of Thomas Biven of Leicester in the County of Leicestershire the sum of Three hundred pounds

I bequeath to my niece Marion Brett Shurlock the wife of Henry James Shurlock of Edgware in the County of Middlesex the sum of three hundred pounds

I bequeath to my niece Florence Mary Davidson wife of John Davidson of 75 Stockton Road West Hartlepool in the County of Yorkshire the sum of three hundred pounds

I bequeath to my niece Frances Mary Stonehouse wife of Albert Stonehouse of Beeston Fields the sum of Three hundred pounds

I bequeath to my niece Jane Morgan wife of Harry Morgan of Anlaby Road Hull the sum of three hundred pounds

I bequeath to my Brother-in-law Robert Wilkinson, Farmer, Bramscote the sum of Fifty pounds

I bequeath to my cousin Ruth Holmes of The Plough Inn Normanton the sum of Fifty pounds

I bequeath to the Parochial Church Council of the Parish of St Mary Plumtree aforesaid to be used for the general purposes of the Church of St Mary and/or (in the discretion of the Council) the school connected therewith the sum of Two hundred pounds

I bequeath my pair of Silver Candlesticks to Frederic Wale of The Cottage Humberstone Leicester in the County of Leicester

I bequeath to the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel the sum of Twenty pounds

I bequeath to the Dr Barnardos Home National Incorporated Association the sum of Twenty pounds

I bequeath to the Church of England Waif’s & Strays Society the sum of Twenty pounds

I bequeath to Henry Austin of Woodborough in the County of Nottingham the sum of ten pounds

I bequeath to my nephew Harry Wilkinson of 35 Bramcote Road Beeston in the County of Nottingham all my household effects and furniture and the whole of the residue of my estate after payment of all my debts & funeral expenses & all the legacies bequeathed by me in this my Will

In witness thereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty fifth day of May One thousand nine hundred and thirty four
