Richard Taylor of Nether Broughton 1832 Will

Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Archives, Leicestershire Wills and Probate Records 1832

This is the last Will and Testament of me Richard Taylor of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester Taylor as follows

First I direct all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expences to be fully paid

I Give unto my daughter Mary … the Sum of Ten pounds to be paid to her within Twelve months after my decease

I  Give Devise and bequeath All my Real and Personal Estate of every description of which I shall died possessed unto my only Son John Taylor his heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever and do appoint him Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Twenty Third day of May one thousand eight hundred and Thirty one

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in his the presence of us who have at his Request in his presence and in the presence of each other set our hands as witnesses to the due execution thereof

Let a Probat be granted to John Taylor of Nether Broughton Labourer Sole Executor named in the Will of Richard Taylor who died at Nether Broughton on the 12th day of May last

He the said John Taylor being duly sworn as well to the faithful execution of the will as that the Testator’s Goods, Chattels & Credits as they were at his death, without deducting any Debts owing by him therefrom, did not amount in value to the sum of twenty pounds
