We only have a couple of references to the Tatlow family in Hickling and these are newspaper clippings from 1968 and 1970 saved in the Wadkin collection. In these years Susan Tatlow won a knitting prize in the under 10s category at the British Legion Horticultural Show. As the Horticultural Show alternated between Hickling & Kinoulton and entrants came from both villages, it may be that the family were from Kinoulton & not Hickling or that Susan Tatlow was visiting friends or relatives.
