Hannah Sumner of Stathern 1923 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me Hannah Sumner of Stathern in the County of Leicester Widow

I appoint James Levesley of Stathern aforesaid Farmer and my daughter Mary Ann Sumner to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will and I revoke all Wills and Testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me

I bequeath all my personal estate of whatsoever nature or kind and wheresoever situate to the said Mary Ann Sumner subject to the payment thereout of my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and subject also to the payment thereout to my daughter Bridget Braithwaite of the sum of One hundred Pounds the first half of such sum to be paid in six calendar months after my death and the remainder in twelve calendar months after my death

And in pursuance and in exercise of a power of appointment contained in the Will dated the first day of April One thousand eight hundred and ninety five of my late Husband John Sumner I hereby appoint that all and singular the messuages tenements lands hereditaments and real estate devised by the said Will of the said John Sumner or over which I have any power of appointment under or by virtue of such Will or otherwise shall from and after my decease go and belong unto and to the use of my Trustees and be held by them upon the same trusts and so and for the same ends intents and purposes as are hereinafter contained and declared of any concerning my real estate

I direct that my Trustees shall hold all my real estate Upon Trust to sell and call in and convert the same into money and hold the same as to one moiety or equal half part thereof in trust for the said Mary Ann Sumner absolutely and as to the other moiety or equal half part thereof In trust for the said Bridget Braithwaite absolutely

In witness whereof I have to this my Will set my hand this Twenty fifth day of April One thousand Nine hundred and Ten
