This is the last Will and Testament of me Catherine Stow of Wykeham in the County of Leicester Widow

I hereby revoke all former testamentary dispositions made by me

I appoint my Son William Clarke Sole Executor and Trustee of this my Will

I bequeath to my Son Thomas Clarke a Legacy of Fifty pounds

I also bequeath to the said William Clarke a Legacy of Three hundred pounds Upon Trust that the said William Clarke shall invest the same in or upon any securities authorized by law for the investment of trust funds with power to vary such investments at his discretion and shall pay the annual income arising from the same sum and the investments for the time being representing the same or so much thereof respectively as shall for the time being be unexpended together with so much and such part or parts of the capital thereof as shall be required to make up yearly and every year the clear or yearly sum of Thirty pounds to my son in law Luke Coy [sic, consistently Coy] during his life or until the same sum and the income thereof shall have been fully expended whichever shall first happen with power for the said William Clarke to pay the said annual sum of Thirty pounds to the said Luke Coy by such half yearly quarterly or other periodical payments as he shall in his absolute discretion think fit

And if the said Luke Coy shall die before the whole of the said sum of Three hundred pounds and the investments and income thereof shall have been expended in the manner hereinbefore provided then and in such case I bequeath the balance of the same sum and the investments and income thereof so remaining unexpended as aforesaid Unto and equally between such of the following persons namely the said William Clarke Thomas Clarke and George Cox of Burton Overy in the County of Leicester the Brother in law of the said Luke Coy as shall be living at the decease of the said Luke Coy for their own absolute use and benefit

And as to all my personal estate and effects not hereby otherwise disposed of I give and bequeath the same subject to the payment thereout of my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and the foregoing legacies unto the said William Clarke for his own absolute use and benefit

Proved at Leicester on the fourteenth day of June 1888 by the Oath of William Clarke the Son the sole Executor to whom Administration was granted

The Testatrix Catherine Stow was late of Wykeham in the County of Leicester Widow and died on the twenty first day of April 1888 at Wykeham aforesaid
