I Elizabeth Sneddon the Wife of Robert Sneddon of 141 Nottingham Road Melton Mowbray in the County of Leicester hereby revoke all former testamentary dispositions at any time heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will

1.            I Appoint my daughter Elizabeth Kirby of Goadby Marwood near Melton Mowbray (hereinafter called my Trustee) to be the Executor and Trustee of this my Will

2.            In the event of my predeceasing my said Husband Robert Sneddon I give devise and bequeath all my property of every description to the said Robert Sneddon absolutely

3.            In the event of my surviving my said Husband I give devise and bequeath all my property of every description to my Trustee upon trust that my Trustee shall sell call in and convert into money the same or such part thereof as shall not consist of money and shall out of the proceeds of sale thereof and out of my ready money pay my funeral testamentary expenses and debts and shall stand possessed of the residue upon trust and retain one half part thereof for her own absolute use and benefit and to pay the remaining half part thereof to my son Robert Sneddon now of Raneegangee EIR Bengal India

4.            Provided Always that if either of my said two children shall die in my lifetime leaving a child or children him or her surviving such child or children shall take and if more than one equally between them the share which his her or their parent would have taken in my estate if such parent had survived me

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty fourth day of April one thousand nine hundred and twenty two

This is a Codicil to the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Sneddon of Goadby in the County of Leicester Widow

1.            I give my old Grandfather Clock to my son Robert Sneddon or if he should predecease me then to his eldest child

2.            I give to my daughter Elizabeth Kirby all my clothes jewellery and personal effects and any furniture or other household effects of which I may die possessed and I also give to my said daughter Elizabeth Kirby any sum which may at the date of my death stand to my credit with the Westminster Bank Limited or any other Banking account belonging to me but in the event of my said daughter dying in my lifetime I give the effects and bank balance mentioned in this clause to the eldest child of the said Elizabeth Kirby

And in all other respects I confirm my said Will

This is a Second Codicil to the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Sneddon of Goadby Marwood in the County of Leicester Widow which Will bears date the twenty-fourth day of April One thousand nine hundred and twenty two

Whereas by clause 3 of my said Will I have given one half part of the residue of my estate to my son Robert Sneddon now Hereby revoke the said bequest and in place thereof I Give to my said son Robert Sneddon One fourth part of the residue of my estate and I Give The remaining One fourth part of the residue of my estate to my son-in-law John Wheatley Kirby of Glebe Farm Goadby Marwood aforesaid as a mark of my appreciation for his kindness to me both before and since I have lived with him and in all other respects I confirm my said Will and the Codicil thereto dated the first day of July One thousand nine hundred and twenty nine
