Daniel Smith of Saxelby 1813 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me Daniel Smith of Saxelby in the County of Leicester Malster made this fourteenth day of July one thousand Eight Hundred and Twelve as follows (that is to say)

In the First place I give and devise All my Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments situate at Melton Mowbray in the County of Leicester or elsewhere with the rights members and appurtenances thereto belonging unto my Daughter Catherine Smith her Heirs and assigns for ever

And I hereby give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Catherine Smith all my money Securities for moneys household Goods furniture plate linnen … Ware Goods Chattels and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever to and for her own Use and benefit and I do hereby appoint my said Daughter Catherine Smith sole Executor of this my Will hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said Daniel Smith have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Day and year first above written

Let probat be granted to Catharine Smith of Saxilby Sole Executor of this will she being sworn to the due Execution  thereof & also made oath that to the best of her knowledge the whole personal Estate of the Testator at time of his death did not amount to the sum of Three hundred pounds & that the Testator died in April the 6th day 1813
