This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Sleath of Grimston in the County of Leicester Retired Platelayer

I appoint my two Sons Albert Sleath and Arthur Sleath (hereinafter called “my Trustees”) to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will

I give and bequeath all my household furniture and effects and my wearing apparel unto my Son Arthur Sleath and my daughter Florence Emily Sleath who now reside with me in equal shares and I also bequeath to them the Legacy or sum of Twenty five pounds each for the care and attention they have shown to me

I devise All my Real Estate (if any) and I bequeath the residue of my Personal Estate unto my Trustees Upon Trust that my Trustees shall sell call in and convert into money the same or such part thereof as shall not consist of money and shall out of the moneys produced by such sale calling in and conversion and out of my ready money pay my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the Legacies bequeathed by this my Will And shall stand possessed of the residue of the said moneys Upon Trust to pay and divide the same unto and equally between my Children (namely) the said Albert Sleath, Walter Sleath, Ernest Sleath, the said Arthur Sleath and the said Florence Emily Sleath to whom I give and bequeath the same accordingly

I hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time made

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twentieth day of April one thousand nine hundred and seven

Signed by the said Thomas Sleath the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the same having been first read over to the said Thomas Sleath who appeared perfectly to understand the same and made his mark thereto in our presence
