Jasper Simpson of Saxelby 1732 Will and Inventory

In the name of God Amen August the fourth day 1730 According to the Computation of the church of England I Jasper Simson of Saxelby in the county of Leicester being of perfect memory and Remembrance praised be god do make and ordaine this my Last will and Testament in manner and forme followeing
First I Bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmighty God my Maker hoping that through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my onely saviour and Redeemer to Receive free pardon and for giveness of all my sins and as for my body to be buried in Christian buriall at the descretion of my Executrix here after nominated
Item I give to my son John the sume of five pound a year and every yeare to be paid unto him yearely and five shillings every yeare for the Terme of his Life to be paid by my son Jesper Simson his heires Executors or Assignes
Item I give unto my Daughter Alice the sume three score pound to be paid unto her Twenty pound to be paid at the day of her Marrige and the other forty to be paid six Months after
Item I give unto my three grand children every one of them one giney to be paid unto them twelve months after my decease
Item I give to John Draper one shilling to be paid to him twelve months after my decease
Item I give to John Houlton and his wife one shilling to be paid unto them twelve Months after my decease
Item all the rest of my goods and chattells and parsonell Estate what so ever I give unto Alice my dearely beloved wife and my son Jesper Equaly devided and share a like upon condetion that they pay all my debts and Legacies and do make Alice my wife sole Executrix of this my Last will and Testament Revokeing all other wills and Testaments that hath been by me made
